Meet Brent, a triathlete devoted to giving back to the community after overcoming incredible adversity as a teen. At the age of 13, he was diagnosed with bone cancer. The affected leg was amputated above the knee, and this was followed by 2 years of chemotherapy. Growing up and coming to terms with this, Brent devoted time to giving back and mentoring children and teens who were also dealing with amputation by volunteering with the War Amps and the Canadian Cancer Society.
