"Run in the most magical place on earth" flooded the radio and a statement that caught my attention very quickly. While at work one day I heard that advertisement for the Disney Princess Half Marathon, to run with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. I decided to check out an information session and I was hooked! I began running in 2009, starting with 10km races and moving to half marathons, with Prince Edward Island being my first completed half. I enjoy running so I figure why not run for a reason? Since signing up with Team In Training I've ran the Disney Princess Half Marathon and Nike Women's Marathon; soon to be twice! NWM was an amazing experience, successfully completing my first full marathon. Something I will never forget. For the current fall season I was asked to be shadow coach, where I learn behind the scenes by observing the interactions and relationships between coaches and participants. For the next season I will be assistant coach, and I can not wait!

Year of first endurance event: 2009

Favourite Event: Nike Women's Marathon

Coaching Motivation: Helping people train for an endurance event and seeing them smile coming across that finish line

Most memorable Team In Training Moment: 41km into my first full marathon and seeing my coach, Kaitlyn, who was amazing, encouraging and helped me get to that finish line!
