Before discovering TNT and endurance racing, I was always a team sport guy. I discovered that what you put into your endurance race training is what you get out of it. With team sports, you can play a perfect game, and if someone else makes a mistake, your individual work can be all for naught. After completing my first TNT event, I knew I wanted to remain involved, coaching allows me to share my experiences and help others reach their maximum potential. I think I bleed purple now.
Year of first endurance event: 2010
Favourite Event: San Francisco Nike Women's Marathon
Coaching Motivation: Pay it forward and give every participant the chance to experience what can't be described in words when you finish an event, but especially your FIRST event. You don't get it until you get it.
Most memorable Team In Training Moment: Crossing the finish line of my first-ever marathon, 13 minutes faster than my best-scenario finish time.
Why join TNT?
The only time it's too late to begin training is when you regret NOT training. Helping to find a cure for cancer, getting in better shape, and completing an endurance event is an accomplishment of a lifetime. Why wouldn't someone challenge themselves?
